The Utility Expo will take place September 28-30 across 1.4 million square feet (85% of which is outdoors), beating the 2019 show’s record-setting 1.34 million, which made it the second-largest show in the U.S. in 2019 according to Trade Show Executive.
“Being Serious About Safety is more than just a motto for TMI,” the TMI Executive Team says. “We are excited to share our expertise with our fellow industry leaders at the Expo. We believe that every workzone should start with top-of-the-line safety measures to ensure that all workers and members of the community go home safely each day.”
The Jobsite will show real, underground utility work happening on the grounds of the Kentucky Exposition Center on a peer-to-peer basis. Everything from locating underground utility lines, to installing new and inspecting existing utility infrastructure, to TMI’s expert traffic control services.
“Managing traffic flow around a job site is something many drivers take for granted,” Utility Expo Show Director John Rozum said. “It’s all about safety and damage prevention. There’s a lot of know-how, a lot of planning and engineering, and a lot of technology behind doing it successfully, so that both drivers and workers get home safely.”
